Young Economic Forum (YEF) - Indonesia FAQs & Funding Details
The Young Economic Forum (YEF) is an international event that brings together young professionals, economists, and policy-makers to discuss key economic challenges and opportunities. The Indonesia edition aims to empower the next generation of leaders through discussions on globalization, regional dynamics, and sustainable economic development.
YEF is open to young professionals, students, and emerging leaders in economics, public policy, and related fields. Individuals aged 16 to 45 with an interest in economic development and policy-making are encouraged to apply.
The participation fee for YEF Indonesia is $15 USD, non-refundable and non-transferable. If you’re not selected for a funded spot or unable to attend as a self-funded participant, you’ll have the option to enroll in our exclusive 8-10 week virtual programs. These programs cover topics like public diplomacy, global identities, and economic relations and are valued at over $300 USD. They provide a rich learning experience, offering insights into various disciplines taught by young scholars.
During the application process, indicate your interest in receiving funding. Applicants must submit supporting documents that align with the summit’s goals. Funded positions are awarded based on merit and commitment to public development and economic policy.
Yes, YEF offers financial support, including 5 fully funded slots that cover all forum-related expenses (merchandise, meals, accommodation, travel support and all other perks).
